Nymphaea х3
This triptych is my attempt to create a separate fairy-tale world in which nature ceases to be just a landscape and turns into a living, almost magical story. The work consists of three canvases, which together form a single composition. Each part continues another, so looking at the whole triptych, the viewer seems to gradually immerse himself in this mysterious space. I wanted to create a feeling as if a hidden place is opening up in front of us, where it is impossible to get in ordinary life. In the center of the composition is an enchanted swamp surrounded by dense nature. Its surface is filled with aquatic plants and light, which creates a special atmosphere. Among the water, lilies unfold, as if glowing from the inside. They add a sense of charm to the landscape, as if each flower has its own small light source. Tall trees grow around the reservoir, their trunks and branches bend over the water. They seem to live their own lives and observe what is happening around them. Their curved shapes create a kind of natural framing of the composition and further emphasize the fabulousness of this place. Two swans are swimming quietly on the water. They became an important part of the history of the picture. Their presence adds silence, tenderness and harmony to the composition. The two swans symbolize unity and connection, as if they had found this hidden place where time has stopped and nothing else matters. I wanted to convey the very feeling of the moment when a person finds himself inside a fairy tale. There is no rush, city noise or the usual rhythm of life. There is only calm water, the glow of lilies, trees bent over the pond, and two swans that glide slowly on the surface. The triptych allows you to expand this space beyond one canvas. The three parts become three peculiar windows into one magical world, where each detail continues the previous one and leads the view further. This picture is created to stop the viewer at least for a few minutes and allow him to escape from reality. Perhaps everyone will see something of their own in this swamp: a secret place from childhood dreams, a hidden corner of nature or a world in which everything is possible. It's not just a landscape. It is a place that exists somewhere between a dream, a fairy tale and reality - a place where you want to return again and again.
