Passion

In this picture, I wanted to convey passion, closeness and that special moment of complete dissolution in each other, when the surrounding world ceases to exist, and only two people and their feelings of each other remain. The red color here is not accidental. It symbolizes passion, desire, sensuality, pleasure and the strength of emotions. It is a color that is impossible not to feel - it seems to envelop the heroes and becomes an extension of their inner state. The two bodies in the composition gradually lose their sense of separation and become a single whole. In this movement, I wanted to show not only physical closeness, but also emotional unity - a state when a person completely trusts the other and simply enjoys the moment. A special role is played by a volumetric element — a sconce, which I created myself. I wove it from wooden beads, painted every detail and integrated it directly into the composition of the picture. Thanks to this, the boundary between painting and the real object is erased, and the work acquires a physical presence. A woman's long black hair touching a man's hips adds movement, softness, and sensuality to the composition. The hair seems to prolong the lines of the bodies, combining them into one smooth rhythm. This work is about intimacy without unnecessary words. About the moment when two people allow themselves to just be together, feel each other and enjoy the presence of the other.
