Your cosmos

The peculiarity of the work is a large wave, which occupies almost half of the canvas. I created it with a structural paste, thanks to which the surface received a pronounced texture and relief. The wave seems to rise from the canvas and becomes a physical part of the composition. The light of the moon falls on its surface, and it is in this place that the main contrast of the picture is born - darkness and light meet in one movement. The wave remains dark, but its individual relief areas catch the moonbeam and begin to shine. The stylized shape of the wave allows it to be perceived not only as water. It can symbolize emotions, inner strength, the movement of life and infinity. Like a wave, a person can pass through darkness, change shape, rise and find light again. In this work, I combined cosmic infinity with the earthly element of water. The moon, the starry sky and the wave create a single space in which there is no clear boundary between the sky and water, reality and fantasy.
